Ashbourne Self Catering have 5 corporate venues in Derbyshire, “the gateway to the Peak District”. We have used our experience to create stylish and well-equipped spaces for director retreats, away days, corporate meetings and team building events.

Ashbourne Self Catering can provide the complete package of top quality corporate venue hire, along with in house catering from £199 + VAT per delegate. “I just wanted to send a message of thanks for the hire of Hollywood House and the Croupier last week. The whole team thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were overwhelmed by the grandeur of the House – our only disappointment was that we couldn’t stay longer! The casino night was a huge hit – given it was fake money, it still got quite excitable on the black jack table which only shows how involved the team became in the experience. The House and its surroundings are simply breathtaking – a truly one-off experience which everyone enjoyed.”

Hollywood House is a fabulous house that offers a private location within extensive gardens, ideal for team building activities. The house sleeps up to 38 delegates across 16 bedrooms which, being Hollywood-themed, create a fantastic icebreaker and talking point at your corporate event.

The grounds of the property include private parking, 5 acres of gardens, a woodland walk with Arctic Cabin, and a panoramic terrace with Swim Spa and Hot Tub. This venue is head and shoulders above any other!

Hollywood House offers unrivalled facilities for those looking for something a little different. The conservatory can seat up to 100 delegates, with bifold doors that open out onto a large terrace. We even offer a Casino Night for the evening's entertainment.

Standlow offers exclusive use of the 19 bedrooms, 7 break-out areas and two meeting rooms.
It contains accommodation for up to 35 delegates in separate beds,
and a dining area for all to congregate.
The large barn provides a meeting room, being fully equipped with white board
and projector screen for presentations. High View Grange houses a second meeting room, which can also be used as a cinema for presentations or evening entertainment.

Standlow contains a large games room, and the grassed paddock provides an outdoor area for team building activities or challenges. We can arrange for a half-day of outdoor activities on site, priced at £26 per person.
For the more relaxing moments, guests can make use of the 6 lounges, the cinema room and the three hot tubs. You can also take a walk down to the village of Kniveton where you'll find The Red Lion pub.

Ashbourne Hall is located a few minutes' walk from the market town of Ashbourne, and offers a boutique-style self-catering house. With 10 bedrooms and 8 wet rooms, Ashbourne Hall has the capacity to sleep up to 21 delegates in separate beds.

Ashbourne Hall is steeped in history and provides large rooms, including a conservatory/dining room that leads onto a walled garden with hot tub. With fibre broadband, SKY, and a large kitchen and lounge, Ashbourne Hall ticks all the boxes. The private driveway fits parking for 12 vehicles.

For the evenings, a short stroll into Ashbourne gives you access to friendly pubs and numerous restaurants of different cuisines. For outdoor team building activities, ball games and sports can be played in the large public park opposite Ashbourne Hall.

A karaoke machine, air hockey table & cocktail bar complete this fabulous corporate venue - work hard and play hard!

Shiningford, situated 4 miles from Ashbourne, is a beautiful venue which can accommodate up to 34 delegates in 16 bedrooms. With several breakout areas and large gardens suitable for outdoor team building activities, Shiningford is ideally suited for the adventurous.

The Manor, Stables & Tack Room form the base of luxury accommodation in a private, rural location. For group dining, the dining hall in The Manor offers a relaxing atmosphere with a log burner for winter. You can also spoil yourselves in the 2 hot tubs, heated throughout the year. The outdoor swimming pool is open in the warmer months, and can provide an ice breaker for the delegates staying.

Shiningford sits at the edge of Carsington Water, perfect for team building activities. With a village pub and visitor centre, Carsington Water offering raft building exercises, cycle hire and a climbing wall.

For an exclusive team retreat, Shepherd's View Lodge is the venue to book, whether it is just for the day or for an overnight stay. This modern eco-lodge has 7 en-suite bedrooms, providing up to 16 single beds, or 7 double beds for a smaller group.

With stunning views surrounding the standalone lodge, it is ideal for a creative brainstorming session. Shepherd's View Lodge has recently been renovated, with new appliances and furnishings. Floor-to-ceiling windows create a light and open communal space, where teams can gather inspiration and relax.

In the evening, you can relax on the terrace with the fire pit and hot tub. The games room has an air hockey table and table football, so there is something for everyone, even if the weather isn't on your side!

Shepherd's View Lodge offers one large dining table for up to 16 people, where you can hold meetings and dine together. We can arrange for a private chef to cater and clean up for you, so that you can have a hassle-free away day.

The venue has private parking and Wifi.

We can arrange your team building activities, either to take place on site or at a local outdoor centre. Get in touch for more details or to add it onto your booking.

The half day package lasts 3 hours and can be set up at our venues, if you are staying at Standlow, Shiningford or Hollywood House. If you'd prefer to go offsite, or are staying at Ashbourne Hall, you can still enjoy a half day of similar activities at our partner site nearby.
