From the 17th June to the 2nd July, a whole host of events will be running in Ashbourne and the surrounding areas for the annual festival. 17th June The Streetfest begins, with free family entertainment around the town
Out of the Deep Blue dance and puppetry show
Summer art exhibition opens at the town hall, running until the 24th June

20th June Paralympic cyclist Karen Darke will be speaking at St. John’s Church from 7.30pm

25th June Poetry and music in the Garden from Ashbourne Writers’ Group
26th June Pete Brown’s beer and music matching in Ashbourne Town Hall
27-28th June The Peakland Players amateur dramatic group present two plays
30th June Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night at an outdoor theatre, with picnics from 6pm
1st July Sparks film school run a young persons’ workshop
Lemn Sissay OBE’s dramatic reading at St. John’s Church
2nd July Picnic in the Park with Hot House Jazz
