Through our experience of hosting Hen Weekends at Ashbourne Self Catering, we can organise catering, activities and pampering with our hen party packages. Plus our weekend stays run from Friday 4pm to Sunday 2pm … no early Sunday morning rush!

Ashbourne Self-Catering specialises in providing superb venues with hot tubs for hen parties.

Ashbourne Hall - sleeps up to 22 in 10 bedrooms with 8 bathrooms.

Ashbourne Hall has a spacious dining conservatory for your hen party dinner, which opens onto a courtyard and the ultimate luxury, the hot tub. The kitchen features a starlit ceiling over the bar, which you can stock with all the cocktails you desire!

Take a walk into Ashbourne for a little shopping or afternoon tea, or spend the evening in one of the many restaurants or bars. Alternatively take advantage of our network of caterers, bartenders and activity providers and let them come to you. We can arrange a 3 course meal for your group, that is even cleaned up afterwards! The dinner is priced at £39.50 per person, and can be added onto your booking as an extra.
If you are looking for a hen weekend with outdoor activities, Shiningford Manor can sleep up to 19 in 9 bedrooms. It has a lovely country feel, being next to Carsington Water, which offers cycling, walking, paddle boarding and raft building for the more adventurous hens.

The garden offers a private hot tub so you can sip champagne in the moonlight. During the warmer months enjoy the outdoor swimming pool at Shiningford. Don't forget to bring your inflatables!

If your numbers are closer to 23, then add on The Tack Room for an additional 2 en-suite bedrooms.

From Friday 4pm to check-out on Sunday at 2pm - no Sunday morning rush!
Wanting somewhere private? Look at Shepherd's View Lodge for hen dos of up to 16:

- 7 modern bedrooms, all en-suite

- Large open-plan dining area, lounge and brand new kitchen

- Hot tub

- Fire pit on the terrace

- Games room with air hockey and table football

We can also organise welcome packs and activities, from £75 per person for the Mini Chick package.
For a larger Hen Weekend - sleeping up to 40 hens:

Hollywood House is the ultimate hen party house, with a hot tub and plunge pool*.

Hire of Hollywood House includes a casino night with professional croupiers. There is a cocktail bar so you can combine the two for an evening of glitz and glamour.

A marshmallow & briquette package is supplied for the the Artic Cabin in the woodland. This special addition to the wonderful house means that your whole hen party will be entertained!

* Although the hot tub is heated all year round, the plunge pool is only open from 1st March to 1st November.
Not sure of your numbers? Standlow offers a little flexibility with the Dining Barn and cottages, allowing hen parties of 15-30 people.

The Dining Barn is super for hen parties, with a large open plan kitchen/dining/lounge for you to all gather for activities, meals and celebrations.

The Barn opens onto a terrace with a private hot tub and BBQ, just perfect for your hen weekend. The adjacent cottages can be added on to suit your hen party size.

You also have shared use of a large games room and a grassed paddock, so you can get some competitions going!
For hen parties of 12-15, you should consider High View Grange at Standlow. It contains 7 bedrooms and a private hot tub. You can also enjoy the shared games room and fire pits.

Alternatively, The Stables at Shiningford sleeps 12 hens in 5 en-suite bedrooms, with a private hot tub.

Each hen party venue has lots of personal touches and a large dining room to host a celebratory dinner.

We have a wide range of activities, caterers, and pamperers for each hen party venue, so that you can design your perfect hen weekend. If you want a hassle-free hen party, we can even organise them for you with our hen party packages.
